Merry Xmas! Unfortunately things didn’t start off too well for K as she was feeling sick again and having problems digesting her food. We didn’t get out of the hotel room until about 2:30 PM, when we went for a walk around to the other side of the bay of the lake we’re on. We both felt particularly intolerant towards the endless bullshit conversational openers today, and unfortunately we are getting ruder as a result.
The sun is starting to go down as I write; I’m sitting on the balcony of our room with K looking out over the water, and the furry white monkeys with the black faces have come out to do the same. It’s our last night in Udaipur – I just hope we now have enough strength to get through the next two weeks without sickness!
